Opportunities
at the ABCD Lab
The ABCD Lab welcomes students and researchers who are genuinely interested in astrocytes and brain development. We work on a range of questions, from how developing glial networks support circuit formation to the mechanisms that allow astrocytes to influence cognition. If you are looking for hands-on research experience as an undergraduate, deeper training as a graduate student, or the opportunity to drive an independent project as a postdoc, you can expect to be involved directly in ongoing experiments and discussions.
We value people who think carefully, ask good questions, and are willing to engage with the data as it is rather than as they hope it to be. Lab members often collaborate across projects, and applicants should be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are openly challenged and refined.
If you are interested in joining, you can use the form below to provide your name, email, and a brief description of your background and research interests. You may also apply directly by emailing your materials to whvankoh@ibs.re.kr, including a resume/CV and, for undergraduates, an official transcript.
