We are pleased to share that the first Asian Chapter of the International Astrocyte School (IAS) will be held from October 11–17, 2026, in Lishui District, Nanjing, China.

Dedicated to Glia in Health and Disease, the school is co-directed by Frank Kirchhoff and Richard Robitaille and will bring together leading glial researchers and early-career scientists for a week of lectures, discussions, and scientific exchange. Dr. Wuhyun Koh will participate as an invited faculty member, together with researchers from across Asia, Europe, and North America.
Applications are open until August 31, 2026, with participation limited to 40 selected applicants.
