We are thrilled to announce the upcoming IBS-UNITO Neuroscience Symposium, taking place on September 10, 2026, at IBS headquarters in Daejeon, Korea.

Hosted by the IBS Center for Memory and Glioscience (CMG) and the IBS Center for Synaptic Brain Dysfunctions (CSBD), and organized by Dr. Wuhyun Koh, the symposium will bring together researchers from IBS and the University of Turin (UNITO) for a day of scientific exchange and discussion. The event is being held in connection with the newly established IBS-UNITO Avogadro Program, which aims to foster research collaboration and scientific exchange between the two institutions.

The symposium will feature a diverse range of neuroscience topics, including neural circuits and behavior, brain development and disease, neuron-glia interactions, and astrocyte biology. Researchers from Korea and Italy will share their latest work and perspectives, creating opportunities for new conversations and future collaborations.

For the ABCD Lab, we are excited to be part of this meaningful scientific exchange and to help bring together researchers across institutions and countries.

We look forward to a day of exciting science, inspiring discussions, and new connections!
