IBS Visits UNITO NICO !

In preparation for the IBS-University of Torino (UNITO) Avogadro Program and to foster academic exchange, we visited the Neuroscience Institute Cavalieri Ottolenghi (NICO) at UNITO from February 9 to 13th.

The visit provided valuable insight into NICO’s advanced research infrastructure and highlighted the strong scientific drive of its members. Discussions throughout the visit highlighted significant potential for future collaboration between IBS and UNITO. During the seminar session, Dr. Koh presented “Astrocytes in Brain and Cognition Development (ABCD): Investigating Autism Genes in Astrocytes”, introducing our work on astrocytes and autism-related gene function. We look forward to deeper collaboration and tangible outcomes through the IBS-UNITO partnership !
