Seminar Visit to Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM)

Dr. Koh visited Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM) and delivered a seminar introducing the research direction of ABCD Lab.

The seminar, titled “Astrocytes in Brain and Cognition Development (ABCD): Investigating autism genes in astrocytes” covered our lab’s approach to understanding how astrocytes contribute to brain development and cognition, with a particular focus on autism-related genes.

The talk led to active discussions and meaningful exchanges with researchers at UNIVPM. What stood out most was their energy and enthusiasm, the depth of engagement and openness to new ideas made the interaction especially memorable.

Following the visit, we agreed to initiate a collaborative research effort ! This marks the beginning of a forward-looking partnership between ABCD Lab and UNIVPM. We thank the researchers at UNIVPM for their warm hospitality and inspiring discussions, and we look forward to what lies ahead.
