Our Perspective Article Published in Neural Regeneration Research
On July 24, 2025, our perspective article, "Potential role of astrocyte on gamma-aminobutyric acid tone regulation during developmental period," was published in Neural Regeneration Research (IF: 6.7) and is now available online. In this work, we discuss how astrocytes may regulate GABA tone during early brain development. While GABA is usually known as an inhibitory neurotransmitter in the adult brain, it actually has excitatory effects during development, influencing neuron

New Review Article in Biological Psychiatry
A new review article, " Tonic NMDA Receptor Currents in the Brain: Regulation and Cognitive Functions, " has been published in Biological Psychiatry . The paper was co-corresponded by Wuhyun Koh and C. Justin Lee , and provides an updated perspective on tonic NMDA receptor currents in the brain. The article explores how neurotransmitters such as glutamate, glycine, and D-serine regulate tonic NMDA receptor activity, and how these mechanisms contribute to synaptic plasticity
